The aim of this course is to give all persons intending to go to sea the education and training in elementary first aid to understand what do in the event of an accident or medical emergency and apply elementary first aid techniques.

About the Course
The training is intended to meet the requirements set out in Section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code for training in elementary first aid and unit A11 of the maritime national occupation standards.
The aim of the training is to give all persons intending to go to sea a basic knowledge of the immediate action to be taken upon encountering an accident or other medical emergency aboard ship.
